Watching For ANY Discounts For March 2006

We just decided to take all the kids to WDW during Spring Break, 2006! That would make 7 of us ~ including 4 YO grandson!! So, just started watching for ANY discounts.....

Anyone else going in March, 2006??

We're going 3/3 - 3/12. It's a little early for codes and discounts yet, but I'm looking too.

We've gone down the end of April and mid-October....never the end of March! I am nervous that it is "peak season"!

we are getting married at wdw in march with our 64 guests.

march & april is peak season & it is rare to get a discount in our experience.

Went 2 years ago at "spring break" that was the week prior to Easter and we got the codes sometime in late December. I doubt any codes will be coming since the ecomony is looking better and the parks are really full. Still hoping.

This March (06) my kid's school changed their "spring break" from the last week of March to March 13-17. Hope the parks aren't as full.

The Public Codes for March 2005 had to be booked by Dec. 1st, not sure when they came out. We decided to go Nov. 30th. The AP codes came out in late December. It is peak season though this year Easter is in April, so March won't be as crowded.

The new pricing and dining plan didn't come out until January though, so I'm not sure if they are still offering public codes. They do have AP rates. It was actually worth it to buy an AP for a week's stay at a deluxe.

Are you trying to get away from those neighbors of yours?

AAA discounts just became available for 2006. The only other discounts that have been coming out lately are Annual Passholder discounts, which are few and far between. The new AP Best Rate Program would make it easier for you to book, if dates for March are opened up in the future.

March is a pretty busy time of year for WDW. Personally, if I were you, I would book the rooms at the AAA rate, for now. If you get room-only reservations, you could always change your reservation in the future.

I agree with EthansMom

I called to inquire about the CBR for Easter break 2006 and was quoted $199., rack, about 2-3 weeks ago. Today I tried again and was given the AAA rate of 148./night. The CM said that I could apply an AP rate when they are released.

It's a start!

Oh Gosh, yes.....I figure we MIGHT be done with the neighbors and court by then and I will NEED to get away no matter which way it goes!!

Book AAA soon! I called and got my discount for third week of March. Then my inlaws decided to come also and were told the AAA rooms were sold out already for CSR on our dates. I told her to call back to double check. She did and was told the same. Good luck.
