Watching CNN.......headache....

I watch CNN and try to read the things that are constantly scrolling at the bottom of the screen so much that I get a terrible headache. I'm amazed that I don't dream with scrolling captions.

I am too old to listen to what they are aying and try to read what is scrolling! You know, once you hit the 29+ age, things just aren't the same

Plus, I've got on the Closed Captioning and that blocks out a lot of the explanatory titles under the people who are talking. I often don't know what the expert is an expert in.

And when they have the double scroll going... forget it! I remember after 9/11 the president was making an important speech. I couldn't watch the screen because I couldn't stop myself from reading the scrolls... which had nothing new to say anyway... and it was such a distraction from what was actually being said.
