Watched "Brother Bear" tonight....

My kids loved it and keep asking me to buy it. I was pleasantly surprised - it was MUCH better than I expected it to be. The moose doing yoga still cracks me up!

Gee, I guess I AM the only one. Now I want to go out & buy it so I can watch it again. Maybe I was in a "Rush Limbaugh" mind-set when I saw it at the theater?? :p

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one crying (and embarrasing my kids) at the end of the movie! I really liked this one, but my kids thought it was too sad. Now we have the DVD I can sob to my heart's content in the privacy of my own home!

We bought the DVD but have not watched it yet. We are giving it to my daugfhter for her b day next month. I keep asking my wife if we can open it and watch it before we give it to her but I keep getting some evil look when I ask so I just leave it wrapped up.

I embarrassed my kids by sobbing in the movie theatre at the end of Brother Bear, so no one is in a hurry to rush right out and get it on DVD. :p I thought it was a beautiful movie, but man did it tug at my heartstrings! :(

LOL, sounds just like me! But my kids made me buy it (OK, so I pre-ordered it before they even know it was being released) and we had family movie night for our 2nd viewing (dd's 3rd viewing).

I liked it...even though I watched it alone in an empty theatre with like...three other five year olds and their parents.

I really enjoyed watching it with Rutt & Tuke's commentary. That was hilarious! :rotfl:

Watch out for that chipmunk!

:teeth: Oh, golly! I couldn't BELIEVE that they actually commentaried (is that a word) the WHOLE movie. I've "watched" that twice now. If you have the DVD, DON'T miss this extra! lol

I did not feel the that anything was over the top. I enjoyed the music, I enjoyed the subtleties and I enjoyed the moose. DS, (teen  ) though, was quite offended by the moose. "Canadians don't say "Eh", ya know." (Like that isn't so!) Not me-I love Bob and Doug. . . or is that Chuck and Dave
