At the Electric Umbrella last week we were overcharged by $1 for the grilled chicken sandwich and $0.10 for each of our sodas. I caught it right away and asked the cashier about it, which resulted in her getting the manager and he refunded me the entire price of the sandwich, which I told them really wasn't necessary, but he said he didn't know how else to deal with it.

I didn't see or hear anything that told me he was going to fix the way it was ringing up, he just said he didn't know why it was happening.

While we were waiting for the manager, DH said he watched someone else get overcharged for another food item and the person didn't notice it. I wonder how many people this happens to???

Most people are mathematically challenged. So I would bet that most of time it is not caught. I don't know about Disney, but there have been retail companies that do this by policy. That $.10 adds up to real dollars by the end of the day. I am sure they made more off of the overcharge that day then all the free food for the people that caught the mistake.

Again, I am not saying that Disney did anything other then make a mistake.
