Thanks for this link, I've been relying on our friends over in West Palm Beach to update us. Thankfully (for us) it's not been to Ft Myers.

It is quite a normal occurrence and usually passes through quite quickly. Not nice if you're there though

We were at St Pete beach last week, and there were hundreds of dead fish on the beach, and loads and loads of flies on them.

The hotel we were staying at cleared them off the beack but you could still see them bobbing up and down in the sea

Not nice at all

Ohh and the fish smell was bad in places.
