Watch out for the Shell station

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this but I thought I'd warn other Canadians driving to Florida. There is a Shell gas station off of I-75. It is off of exit 175 in Kentucky. My sister and I just got back from driving home and stopped at that station to get gas. We had a shell gas credit card that had been used our whole trip. At this station we were flatly told that he didn't serve Canadians and to go. He would not take our card or give us gas. Now I have been in contact with Shell and found out that he should have accepted our card as it was good in Canada and U.S.A. He was really rude to us. I thought I'd warn other Canadians about this gas station. I'm just glad it wasn't my parents that stopped there.

Wow, I have never had that happen before. That was incredibly rude. I wonder what his beef with Canadians is.

Hi Tigercat,

We will be driving down in April, and definately do not want to encounter
this gas station. I was looking on our "TRIP TIK" and cannot find exit 175.
Can you tell us what town it was near?
I can't believe you had such RUDE service. As far as I'm concerned they lost
your GOOD money!!!!!
We'll make sure we have enough gas to pass this place by!!
And I'm sure that other Canadians reading this post will do the same.

Just south of the Ohio border the exits are 180 then 178 then 175. The town that was on the gas station I thought was Tifton, but when we went to exit 178 to get our gas (they were very nice) they said it was Richwood.
Baboo the rest of the trip was good but a lot of work. Cleaning up someone else's trailer to bring stuff back is a lot of work. It was a really interesting trip though because I spent 2 weeks with my oldest sister. The longest time I have spent with her since I was very little. She is 11 yrs. older than me and 3 siblings between us.
