I really NEED the times to come out..

Quick update..

I have been eating a lot differently, watching everything. I feel fine doing well thank you! except yesterday. only thing good about the superBAD bowl was eating! :rotfl2:

This place NEVER ceases to amazing me... daily there is some shenanigans going down. ::yes::

THIS WEEKEND! Saturday the girls had a double header in volleyball games thankfully they were home game. UNfortunatly i had to work job #2 and would have to miss them.
Not the case. Game were canceled due to the INSANE WEATHER WE HAVE. Another 4 inches dropped on us. i believe the one weather station reported we have had a total of 54 inches this year. Last year was 5 inches... i believe we have had more. Especially since i live next door to the lake.:confused3

The boys did have their basketball game and i finally got to go to the GAME!!! :cheer2:
Their first lost.. i am being blamed for their first lose!!! :rotfl2: Goof Balls..
The job #2 called. and i did not have to go in.. Why??? DUE TO THE WEATHER... :crazy2:

Yet it was in the 30's. so my friend and i went out with the cameras.. i wanted to do more nature pictures. nope. everywhere we went the roads were blocked by about 7 foot snow walls..
ok. How about the Cemetery. it's the biggest and more elaborate cemetery in the city. Graceland. drive ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way up there to meet a sign that stated: TEMPORARY CLOSED FOR SNOW REMOVAL. :faint:
This was depressing... My one shot i REALLY REALLY want it a crow on a headstone... icing on the cake for that is a crow on a headstone with snow on it.. i will get this shot at some point. JUST NOT ON SATURDAY :furious:
fine. went over to rosehill cemetery. my usual day out i take min of 700 pictures. Saturday? 174 after editing? 50. terrible day.
if you want to see them i added them to my site:
MOFOTOGRAPHY

we tried.

Sunday... like i said earlier everything and anything i do has to turn into an adventure.
we were supposed to be at Jen's at 4-4:30.. I was to bring desserts. easy right? I needed gas and cigarettes. Off to the gas station we go.
My credit card isn't working... :confused3
then i remembered. they sent me a new card. Which i thought was strange since the one i had didn't expire until 2015...
back home i go to get new cc and activate the dang thing. run to the ATM to ensure the stupid thing works. :thumbsup2 Yep! take out money JUST IN CASE the cc fails me again.
Back to the gas station IT WORKS!!! then to the store to pick up desserts. FINALLY on our way to Jen's :crazy2:.

I had brought all my stuff so we can FINALLY talk about the upcoming trip! :cheer2:
FINALLY!!!
Boys are running amuck killing each other with nerf guns and michael meyers masks. The girls are doing what little girls do in Gracie's room with the door shut.
we start looking. WHY then all the kids need to come into the room??? :confused3

told them we are working on the baseball web site. Which worked for 5 out of the 6 children...
that Jack... i was going to hog tie him and put him in the basement. He KNOWS what we are doing... :sad2:
Mr. Who wants this to be a surprise for him too sure cannot keep his nose out of OUR BUSINESS!!! Finally jen got him to go in the basement. I don't believe she used brutal force... i am not quite sure.

but we came up with this:
More then likely going to drive. talking to a friend of mine who drives every time says it will take about 600 in gas round trip..:cheer2:that is a lot cheaper then the 2,000 in flying.
Arrival day:
Epcot. take the monorail over and see what we can see. First on the agenda would be:

(thank you Internet search)
Meg will NOT be happy if she does not meet Duffy whether he is in drag or NOT this is a MUST..
Then for the boys we MUST head over here

After this i will check line times and if the princesses are out.
We will ALL be exhausted jump back onto the monorail to head here

Then to drop on our faces for day #2!
update more LATER!!! I have work to do here ya know!!! :rotfl:

Beautiful photographs athough I really didn't like seeing all that snow. :rotfl: I had my fill for the winter last week. Total craziness down here in Atlanta over two inches of snow. Thank goodness the temperatures are supposed to be in the 50s this week, it feels wonderful!

I love your day one plans, of course you have to see Duffy right away!

This is why I love the idea of FP+, because you can actually get to a park midday and still do Test Track! I just wish they would allow for park hoppers....my only complaint.

Yay for planning!!!

You have NO idea!!! out in the cemetery there we walked in about 3 1/2 feet of snow!!!
Crazy...

Ok back to work now...

It was 50 degrees here yesterday. Today, we have at least 6 inches of snow, but it looks like it is stopping. More expected on Wednesday AND on Saturday:scared::furious: If this keeps up, I won't have any vacation time left. The roads are absolutely horrible - the interstate is backed up in both directions. Glad Charlie told me to stay home today, especially since, when I woke up at 6 am it was freaking raining.

So I get a free day in my sewing room.

Glad you finally got a chance to scheme....ahem....plan.....:thumbsup2

I agree, I am completely over this winter thing....come on spring ::yes::

We always drive wherever we go. :drive: Gas and upkeep are always cheaper than flying for us!! Plus Greg likes to drive so it works well. We drive overnight, well, he does....I sleep in the back with the girls. :goodvibes

Okay, not gonna bother with quoting, but to answer your question, I have been using the crowd calendar off touringplans.com, they publish the unofficial WDW guide every year and the predictions last year for us were right on! :thumbsup2 So I find it to be pretty accurate! You do have to pay like $10 a year to access ALL the features, but I found it worth it, we used the app a lot at Disney too!

Okay- so about your updates... this weather stuff is NUTS! It was like in the 20's the other day here in Texas and literally ALL our school shut down!! LoL! I was cracking up!!! It wasn't even icy.... us poor Texans..

:offtopic:
I didn't realize you had so many jobs!! Bravo for taking control of your eating habits, especially with being so busy. I work for a holistic clinic and our patients with issues similar to yours are always recommended to cut sugar out of their diets. Sugar causes inflamation, inflamation makes your body produce cholesterol, obviously too much of that leads to the thyroid and all the other issues people deal with sometimes. Dropping sugar is EXTREMELY hard, we try our best and try to stick to the 90/10 rule, so we avoid it 90% of the time...lol... its still hard, sugar is in EVERYTHING!! All bread products turn to sugar in your body, and every canned or packaged product has sugar, and then even some natural sugars still cause inflamation. So best to stick with meats/proteins, veggies, and berries or green apples on the fruits. Raw seeds and nuts are good snacks. Organic dairy is ok too, just look for no sugar. Also sugar substitutes and anything reading "sugar free" is worse than the sugar... sigh, so we always say 100% stevia (which I think tastes awful) or xylitol (I love!) are best. Also switching your oils to Grapeseed for high heat, or Coconut for any heat (has a sweet taste) or EVOO for no or low heat. Anyway, I talk about this stuff like everyday of my life so sorry to unload it on you, but just in case you can use any of that info to your advantage!!! :)

Alright, and finally I love your plans you made there! Olivia just got her first Duffy bear today on clearance at the Disney Store and she is excited to meet him next time too, we missed him last visit!

Hi Mo!!! I was so BUSY working on this really awesome bag I am making, I didn't have a chance to stop by...

Glad you had a good weekend, minus the snow that hindered your plans.

Love your first day plans so far - it sounds like a great way to start your trip.

Cannot believe you are driving! GULP!

Granted - I don't know about this as my job, just some genuine research and learning, but I couldn't agree with you more... Well - there are a couple of things I disagree with you on, but for the most part - I feel you are dead on right. At the end of last year, I started eating Primally - which is almost exactly as you describe above (except, no sweeteners - artificial or natural and no peanuts - it's a legume) and I have NEVER, EVER felt better in my life... and as an added bonus - my size is dropping like crazy! I am about 95% Primal right now.

I agree - I think this would be fantastic for Mo - but she already knows this, as I need to stop bothering her about it, or she will be sick of me. I think a lot of things she is having issues with could be helped (or even resolved) by cutting out a few of the above mentioned things. It's not easy though. I have found, what really helps me with the wheat cravings is to substitute with high fat items - it works every time. And who doesn't love high fat? Mmmmm...

OK - done with diet talking. Just happy to see someone who knows what they are talking about... I always feel like I am a loner among my friends, bucking the wind to "conventional wisdom & the Standard American Diet"... :thumbsup2

Hey Mo! Just a quick fly by because I have got to get moving if we're going to be boarding a plane at 6:20 AM tomorrow morning!! I didn't have time to look at your cemetery photos, but hope to get back to see them later tonight. Sounds interesting!

Your first day plan looks like fun. It's great you were able to talk about your trip finally, at least a little. I know work cuts way into your day! Bummer!

How did the saga of "key-boy" end? Did you or anyone ever find a replacement? He should be the one trying to track it down since he's the dork who broke it in the first place. Sheesh!

Ok, gotta plow. Have a great week!

at some point the snow was over 3 feet. i just followed in my friends footsteps. one good thing i can say.. I DID NOT FALL ONCE!!!
it was not easy...
It's a culture shock for you guys for SURE! your state should have been ready for your winter blast!!! honestly i was laughing so hard when you told me Jim had the snow-blower out for 2 inches... yet i know your not used to that at all!!!

This is why I love the idea of FP+, because you can actually get to a park midday and still do Test Track! I just wish they would allow for park hoppers....my only complaint.

Yay for planning!!!

So you can't do different FP+ for different parks??? That stinks!! this is still something i need to read up on.. With the low crowds really don't need fastpass except for RnR, TSM and Soarin. everything else is a 5 minute wait.. that is becuase it takes 5 minutes to walk through the line!!! :woohoo:

Ohhh 50... that sounds HEAVENLY!!! 35 i almost put on a pair of shorts!!! RAIN?!?! rain means ICE!!! yuck! sorry to hear that!
Here too going to get another few inches. i want to be sick...

Ohhh what did you create in your sewing room??? You guys have no idea how fascinated i am by people who can sew...

Glad you finally got a chance to scheme....ahem....plan.....

I agree, I am completely over this winter thing....come on spring

wasn't as i wanted. but at least i have some answers. yep more then likely we will be driving. I just can't see spending the 2,000 on flights where it will only be 600.00 in gas. don't know how we will have driving arrangements yet..

Okay, not gonna bother with quoting, but to answer your question, I have been using the crowd calendar off touringplans.com, they publish the unofficial WDW guide every year and the predictions last year for us were right on! I renewed my subscription. It was driving me bat crap crazy not having an idea... at least i do now.. once the actual times come out i will have more concrete plans, and i am sure we will change some things around. i just hope and pray they come out SOON like before i have to make Adr's!!!

Okay- so about your updates... this weather stuff is NUTS! It was like in the 20's the other day here in Texas and literally ALL our school shut down!! LoL! I was cracking up!!! It wasn't even icy.... us poor Texans..

No way... it's just so alien to everyone else and this weather! i'm sorry you all have to deal with it.
We are fighting our own battles here with the snow. i have no idea where people are going to start putting it..

:offtopic:
I didn't realize you had so many jobs!! Bravo for taking control of your eating habits, especially with being so busy.

it's hard but i am more conscious of it now.. Not going to lie. Sunday i was bad.. and yesterday i had a piece of YUMMY PIE.. two days of falling off the wagon is better then totally falling off and not getting back on!

trying to eat organic is OVER the top expensive. I was shocked when i found out sugar free is so bad for you! ugh what main stream leads you to believe until you do your own research!!!
and i am still doing research for this..

Alright, and finally I love your plans you made there! Olivia just got her first Duffy bear today on clearance at the Disney Store and she is excited to meet him next time too, we missed him last visit!

I read that!!! Now you must get Duffy clothes! or like Meg make your Duffy drag! :rotfl: that is the ONE day we made together.

Hi Mo!!! I was so BUSY working on this really awesome bag I am making, I didn't have a chance to stop by...

well you have a legit excuse. how is that coming along??? :hyper: Is it the best bag you have made so far?!?! :stir:

Glad you had a good weekend, minus the snow that hindered your plans.

I AM SO DAMN TIRED OF SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and cold.

Love your first day plans so far - it sounds like a great way to start your trip.

it's coming along.

Not just cemetery pictures there are some city stuff in there too..

Your first day plan looks like fun. It's great you were able to talk about your trip finally, at least a little. I know work cuts way into your day! Bummer!

i hate when work gets in the way. I really do.. I have not had a chance to call my favorite phone number and listen to my favorite hold music..
Have to try again today

How did the saga of "key-boy" end? Did you or anyone ever find a replacement? He should be the one trying to track it down since he's the dork who broke it in the first place. Sheesh!
Ok, gotta plow. Have a great week!

The moron with the key. he is out of luck too bad... deal with it.

That's awesome you've done so great! I wish I could do better... I still struggle a lot. I basically grew up eating everything processed or from a can and eating fresh food isn't pleasant for me. But it is amazing how good you feel when you change just a few things! Your energy comes back! Love it!

Organic is pricey- I don't care what anyone says! Especially when that $8 pack of hamburger is right next to the $3 one! For fruits/veggies I stick to the clean 15/dirty dozen and that helps... Clean 15 you can buy non organic!

That is weird about FP+ not being able to work at multiple parks in one day??? We aren't doing hoppers yet since the kids are small but hope that changes for one day. I also don't like the tiered stuff I've been hearing about...pretty much stinks.

I asked this on another TR and no one knew, so maybe someone here will- what's up with the magic sliders and covers for your magic bands? I saw them for sale in the resorts last trip and they were so cute! Seems like fun to jazz your MB up, but I've seen no photos of people doing it! Is it a hassle? Too pricey? Just curious.. The girls wanted to decorate theirs!

i don't know about the ones for sale in the parks, but there is a thread about people decorating their bands themselves....as crafty as you are I'm sure you would do great!!!:)

OoooOOooOOOOooOOo!!! :scratchin

I will look that up straight away!! Thanks! ::yes::

Well, since our flight was cancelled this morning I had a chance to look at your cemetery photos. Fantastic!! Really. Quite beautiful. Of course I would rather be on my way to Disney, but might as well make the most of it. Hopefully our new flight will be able to leave as scheduled. And we're fortunate that the airport is only 8 minutes away, so we could come home while waiting for our later flight. It was sleeting a few minutes ago, but now it's snowing. Who knows what will happen? But, it's all good. Hope you have a fantastic day and week!
