Which would you rather do? Have dinner at Ohana's and watch Hallowishes from inside the restaurant. Or grab a dinner earlier like at Kona Cafe and then go to the Poly beach and view the fireworks Hallowishes there?

We do have a ressie for 9:50 p.m. but that really is just to late for my husband to have food inside before he goes to bed so I am seriously thinking of canceling Ohana's sadly.

Which is the better experience in your opinion?

There are very few tables inside 'Ohana's that have any type of view of MK's fireworks. Unless you get very lucky, there is a good chance you won't be able to see the show at all. So if seeing fireworks is a priority, I would plan to eat first and then find a spot elsewhere to watch the fireworks.

I agree with figment_jii that there are only some tables inside 'Ohana that have a good view of the fireworks; most do not. Also, if your reservation is at 9:50 and fireworks are scheduled for around 10:00 - 10:30, anyone with a table with a view won't be leaving until afterwards so your chances of getting a table with a view are pretty much non-existent.

thank you for the thorough input. Well, i am going to cancel the Ohana's late ADR. It's really just to late for my husband to have so much food in his belly for he goes to bed. Darn, it's been our tradition to go to Ohana's on our day of arrival from MCO.

I am leaning on just getting a good dinner at Kona Cafe and head to the beach for Hallowishes viewing.

Thanks!

We have watched from inside the restaurant and it was nice, but it wasn't as good as a view as the beach. We did not have a window seat, but they dimmed the lights and encouraged us to pull our chairs out into the aisle to be able to see out the large windows at the back of the restaurant.

I read about Trader Sam's. hmmmmm, I am going to look into that possibility. Thank you!

I watched from Poly Beach last night. I've read before that the music was piped in, but it wasn't and I had to listen to a group of obnoxious "dudes and bros" the whole time, one of whom was facetiming to a friend the whole time and I could hear every single word even though he was ~30 feet away.

The view from Poly was nice, but far. If I don't go to MNSSHP tomorrow then I plan to watch from the Contemporary. It's closer, I've been assured the music is piped in, and hopefully those same dudes won't be there.
