Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

I think it's going to take about eight trash days to get all the crap out.

I am all for the de-clutter. I feel like I am being swallowed up by all things pink, princess and glittery...princess:

:scared1:

:rotfl2: Luckily for me all of that ( along with all the Star Wars stuff for the boys) is now contained in the bedrooms.

I think what helped was the Princess table and chairs she got for her birthday. Now she stays in there having tea parties with the princesses and barbies. Though there is a visit from time to time from the Diamond Castle Barbie.

It gets better, I promise! We have the toys all coralled into the basement now. THe shelves hold all the lego Star Wars stuff and that's about all that gets dragged out regularly anymore. Every other toy is in rubbermaid bins in the basement closet--and stays there. Of course, now we have the wii stuff--balance board, rockband drums, 3 wii guitars....

I tried to buy a plastic storage bin for the Wii games yesterday and DH went on and on about what a waste of money it would be, blah, blah, blah...

Today, he's complaining because they are taking too much room spread out everywhere--"Don't we have someplace to keep them altogether?" :headache:
Doofus. :sad2:

That's when you say, "Hey! I know what will work! Let's travel back in time and get the plastic storage bin like I wanted to YESTERDAY." :teeth:

I like the target see through bins with the handles that clip over the top. The cost about six dollars each. I got 5 today.

I'm just going to start going directly to page four to look for this thread.

I actually have a chance to breathe today and no one is around, what's up with that?

Everyone seems to be too busy organizing!

Not me--just the others, I guess.

Only page 2 this time. Must be a slow DIS day

DH messed up all of my de-cluttering plans by forgetting to take the trashcan to the curb this morning. Now I will have two weeks worth of regular trash for next weeks pick-up, plus any de-cluttering I happen to get done. I am sure my trash man will love me for that.

Again, DH=doofus. :sad2:

I AM going to buy a plastic tote for the Wii games, though. Just not when doofus, I mean, DH is around...:rolleyes1

Look at us on the front page.

I am helping a friend plan a trip to Disneyland so I had to go to the LAND planning board.

I thought while I was there I would check here and here you were.

I was hoping there would be some good threads. So far it looks like this is the only one.

I am going to take some sage advice and get a storage bin for all the Wii stuff. I was the idiot that didn't think we needed one. Doh!

Dorky, I am the QUEEN of plastic storage bins...trust me when I tell you that you DEFINITELY need TWO--one for the remotes and nunchucks and a separate one for the games. It will just be easier that way. I know, I know...losers and plastic storage bins just don't mix, but I am addicted to them! I never seem to have enough plastic storage bins! :scared1:

Now DH has purchased the Zapper which, of course, does NOT fit in the remote bin. What ever am I going to do with that man? :sad2:

Zapper? What is the Zapper?

I really only want to get 1 plastic bin. Crap! Now I will be the idiot that only wanted to get 1 bin!

I like bins but they really don't help me keep stuff organized. I hate digging around in them trying to find what I was looking for. I find that if it's all scattered around I can at least see it. No digging required and that eliminates one whole step. LOL!

I am a bin addict as well.

So I have some new bling under my username....I think it fits my personality:lmao:

My wife is the organizational guru in our house. Me...I'd be happy with stacks of stuff everyone within arms reach! We're still trying to dig out of Christmas as wel. We always promise ourselves we're not going to over do it with the kids and of course...we generally break that promise the day after Thanksgiving!

HEY! Welcome to the thread! Don't let the organization talk fool you...we're total losers here. Don't want you to be shocked later.

Throw that laundry in the big bin in the corner and sit for a spell!

That is SO much better than the 'big hair' tag! :lmao: Totally YOU, Lara!
And, it makes your butt look smaller! :rotfl2:
Yay You! :thumbsup2

Zapper? What is the Zapper?

The zapper is the Wii gun. DH says he wishes it were longer (;) ) I have no comment on that! :lmao:

Dorky, I have a small bin w/no lid for the remotes/nunchucks so we just reach in and grab. I will get the same for the games. If they were all thrown together, there would be much more digging involved--too much work and defeats the purpose of the bins.

Hiya gang!

Hmmmm.....I like stuff that make my butt look small. A tag is much easier than making people look the wrong way through a spyglass too.

I am looking for a new tv console that has a drawer for the wii remotes-- wiiZapper, too. But for now I just use a pretty wicker basket that hides them. The games are with all the dvds--in plain sight, but oh well. I am not so much organized as I hate crap laying around so I like to hide my clutter. Baskets are my friend. Clear bins just show the crap! Of course, I use plenty of those bins in the basement where I don't care who sees the crap.

Anyone want a husband? He's been home for almost 10 days, mostly, and it's starting to get to me. "Whatcha doin?" "I'm bored" :headache: He is mostly trained and fairly handy with tools and electronics.
