Ok, I know Starcrack is a phenom. But, given my location, we don't have starcracks near us. I've seen them when I'm out and about. I've contemplated trying it out.

The problem is the language. I don't know what the heck you guys are talking about! Venti? Lattes and cappuchinos. I don't get it.

Can someone give me a starcrack lesson so I can not feel too intimidated to order something the next time I see one?

Denise is probably a better resource than me--I am more of a Caribou girl myself. Their a large is a large--and I am good with that! The best drink they have is a Turtle Mocha. Coffee, chocolate, caramel, peanuts--yum! It is heavenly. It is also nearly an entire day's caloric intake. SOooo worth it!

At Starbucks a Venti=large, I think. Denise and the other Starcrack addicts can clue you in to the rest, I hope!

Grande=Medium
Venti=Large

Cappucino is basically espresso with steamed milk. A Cafe Mocha is espresso, steamed milk and chocolate. That's all I got.

Because then they can't charge $4 for it! It has to have a fancy name to go with the fancy price

Cappucinno is basically 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foam.

Latte is just espresso and steamed milk

Frappucino is coffee and ice blended

Many have flavor syrups added.

Sizes are what Steph said. I am a Starcrack's addict. I admit it. But I only let myseelf go there once or twice a week. Otherwise I'd be broke.

Morning Losers!

No starcrack for me this morning. Just my old Folgers Gourmet stuff that I made myself. I used to only drink coffee every once in a while. But since football started and I find myself outside in the freezing weather for hours at a time, I started getting those Mocha's from Mickey D's (drive thru whenever possible!). And now that I've started that, I'm drinking coffee all the time.

Or maybe it's not the cold football weather. Maybe it's the fact that this thread has become all about coffee. Starcrack coffee, coffee with liquor added, venti's, and cappuchinos.
