How's everyone holding up in the storm??

We lost power for about 20 minutes around 1am but other then that it's just REALLY windy!

Bangor had a gust of 96mph! YIKES. 520 is closed, 100,000 plus without power. What a weekend.

Hope everyone is ok out there and has power!

It's just really, really windy in the Tri-Cities! I was watching the news this morning and the west side looks pretty bad. I hope you all hang in there and are OK.

In Portland we had some blackouts, but nothing like you guys. It finally stopped raining and now there is this insanely bright light covering everything. Oh wait, that's just the sun, I forgot what it looked like! :teeth:

Oh man...should I be calling Snohomish to check on my brother??? I should watch more TV!

It's pretty nasty out here. We're just south of Snohomish and so far so good. A large piece of tree landed on the kids swingset, but that's about it so far! They're saying the problem is with all the rain the ground is saturated and the trees are falling over easier. :scared1:

It's been scary. We have one tree down. Fortunately it just landed on our land and not our house. It sure came close though. In our neighbor's yard another huge tree just snapped in two about half way up and down came the top half the tree. Fortunately it didn't hit anything either.

Our power has been off and on and we've lost phone and cable too. I'll be glad when this one passes! I love the beautiful trees in the NW but I tell you, during wind storms, they become terrifying!

I'm on Lake Burien, due west of SeaTac airport. I thought the storm had passed but it flared up again! West Seattle has lost power off & on all day from what I understand but we've been oK here so far, just some blinking lights. It's a doozy!

I live near Issaquah and it has been really windy here but it doesnt seem to be raining much. I hate windstorms we have two really tall fir trees close to the house with every gust I just picture them falling through the roof. I will be glad when this is over. Some power out here and there but we still have ours. My gym was out this morning though so no running for me :cheer2: Hopefully everyone will be back on for the game.

I'm in Lynnwood and so far everything is windy but still intact. There are street lights out around Alderwood Mall and branches down but that's it. I'm on my way to Clearview to meet a client so hopefully I won't run into any falling trees.

GO HAWKS!

I'm on the East side (Ephrata) and it's just been another windy day here...was surprised to see how bad it's been on the West Side. I guess I'm just used to the high winds - we seem to get them pretty regular. Hope everyone is doing o.k. :goodvibes

We just got our power back on after 15 hours. It went off right before midnight and came on at 3 this afternoon. Our phone lines were out for several hours during that time as well. I'm just thrilled because I bought some bags of ice last night and stuck them in the freezer and when I just checked everything was still frozen solid. I had just done my Costco shopping and didn't want to lose it all! Kitsap county can get hit pretty hard sometimes and I've taken warnings pretty seriously ever since the Inaugural Day storm in 93.

My sons were teasing me last night saying I was going overboard, but they were happy I was prepared as I was making them a hot lunch on the bbq!

We haven't lost power but the wind is howling!! I made the mistake of driving the SUV today and it was NOT fun! We've had some on and off rain, but not snow (yet, sinec night is falling!)

Over here in Eastern Washington (Pullman) the wind's been howling all day! No rain yet. But when I went to the store earlier the wind was roaring through as when I opened my car door it flung open, and just walking into the store was a chore as I felt blown about.

My parents are in Ocean Shores and they said that they have been out of power for 11 hours, and is temporarily back on but figuring that it will probably go out again. Their coworkers who live in Aberdeen said that there were 15-20 down trees along the highway from Aberdeen to Ocean Shores. Needless to say it's been downpouring and the wind heavy. It was said that the wind in Aberdeen was 65-85 mph and is figured that Ocean Shores was higher as they are right on the ocean. I swear the winds there are a hurricane to themselves.

Who goes out on a Saturday to meet a client?? :wave2:

Central Washington reporting here! :wave2: A little wind off and on, broken clouds, nothing out of the ordinary!

The South end of Lake Stevens lost power for about three hours this afternoon. Forced us to clean out the den closet rather than play Myst like we wanted to. :( ;)
