Washing Ugg Boots.

Hi. DD16 bought a pair of the real Ugg boots a couple of weeks ago and just wandering if anyone has washed thier's yet? Also the front of the boot is starting to curve up. They were a little snug at first and now streched a little.

Are they even washable? I know you can remove the lining and replace it, maybe wash that...but I wasn't aware that you could wash the entire boot without harming it.

Did you put the water proff spray on them. You can not wash the suede boots.

If they are the "standard" boot, you cannot wash them. They are not waterproof. I hope you treated them before she wore them. They do sell some spot cleaner. I'd suggest you go to their official web site for care instruction.

I'd return them. If they were bought through an authorized Ugg reseller, she should definitely return them. Sounds like they were defective. If she bought them on e-bay, sounds like they could be fakes.

my friend's daughter had a problem with a pair a few years ago. She looked them up online and emailed them. They called her back and exchanged the boots for free, and she'd had them over a year. She said they guarantee them and if there's a defect they want to know about it.
