washing shirts after putting on the transfers?

Please tell me they won't get ruined!!
This is the first time I have ever done shirts and I just finished ironing them all. Now I am scared to death to wash them after all that work.

I know I'm suppose to turn them inside out, can I wash them all together? Do I use deturgent and fabric softener? Will the ink run??

When I did mine ( With in a few hours of all the ironing) I turned them inside out and washed them in cold water, with my regular detergent and fabric softener all together. Make sure you take them out as soon as they're done washing and put them in the dryer ( i dried them on the low setting) and they came out fine. I've heard if you leave them sit wet or hang dry them the colors may run, if you run into any problems with the colors bleeding put them right back in the wash and re wash them .. I hope your shirts come out as great as mine did .

Be careful if you spray anything on them for stain removal purposes. I sprayed Grease Lightning on my son's, because he had a bloody nose while wearing it and it ruined the whole batch. Fortunately, this was after our trip, but it was still dissapointing. I don't know about regular spray stain remover, I always use Grease lightning, because of my son's bloody noses (works fantastic on blood) so maybe other products wouldn't do this. Just a warning to be careful what you use.

I had mine run when on its on our trip.. ok i can laugh now 2 weeks later

I dont knwo what went wrong.. I did another shirt with the same paper in June and it has help it a dozen washings.. When I got to Florida I irons on 20 shirts.. and almost everyone peeled.. cracked.. ran.. I dont know what it was this time.
