Washer and Dryer Opinions Needed

We have LG front loaders we purchased 3 yrs ago and we are very happy with them. We chose to do the front loader because we have a small laundry room and we wanted to put in a sink so we were able to stack the appliances.

The only drawback is the vent tubing to the dryer is rather long so it does take a little longer than it should to dry however it still works better than our previous one. When dh cleans out the tubing it works great for a month or so (so if it's cleaned out every month it would be great!)

I love being able to fit in larger loads as well as our king sized comforter. I love only having to use a little detergent and the various cycles it has including a speed wash are a nice perk. The dryer also has a steam option which I have yet to use LOL!

Google "fixit now", its an appliance repair forum run by a group of repair men. They will answer questions and instruct you on how to fix your own appliances. Their web site is full of troubleshooting tips / steps...

We had to buy a new set about a month ago and we ended up getting the top loading Maytag Bravo's. I LOVE this new set!! SO much better than the front loaders I had. And with these Maytag's we ended up getting a 14 year warranty on the washer and 5 years on the dryer!
