Was worried, but had great time at CM dinner!

We had dinner ressies for Chef Mickey at 6:30 PM on Saturday, October 16th and I'll admit that I was a little worried from recent reviews. We checked in for dinner at 6:10, had our picture taken (didn’t buy) and were seated by a window overlooking the pool by 6:35. Our serve, Sharme as EXCELLENT. I’ve never had a buffet server anywhere as “on it” as she was. Recent reviews had me worried, but we were pleasantly surprised (although maybe after all the boring QS meals we were just ready for a meal). The sliced turkey, the mango ribs, mashed potatoes, rice, it all was very good. The little chocolate cookie Mickey head desserts were awesome too! We saw all the characters and were finished by about 7:45. I didn’t find CM loud or chaotic like some reviewers have posted.

We had the same experience when we went in May! All of the bad reviews almost had me ready to cancel our ADR for our arrival night, but I've come to realize that you can find bad reviews about EVERY restaurant if you stay on the DIS long enough. WCC and Sci-Fi are two outstanding examples of restaurants we try not to miss each time, but they get trashed on the DIS regularly. We stuck with our plan and had a great time! The service was great, the food was very good, the characters made it around to our table twice in barely over an hour, and my DS3 could've survived on Mickey Mousse Domes alone! We also didn't find it to be noisy or chaotic and loved watching the monorail come through.

It is nice to hear a good review about CM.

We loved our dinner there and plan to go back in Feb.
