Was today National funeral day or something

So you have no idea how many people I know went to a funeral today...
It breaks my heart...
I was at the dance studio and one of my coaches comes in saying she was just at a funeral...
My heart was bleeding for her and her lost...
Then everyone I knew was talking about funerals they had been to recently...
Then my Grandma calls asking my mom to come up next Wednesday when she has heart test because they think theres more complications( They found a tumor in her last friday and then it went down hill from there then it started getting better now this...)
Then she informs my mom she went to her close friends funeral today and it was really sad and heartbreaking...
It mad me so sad...
Then she asked to talk to me and she starts talking about death to me and saying when she dies here can you dance at my funeral...
I was like let not talk about this I dont want you to realize you most likely dont have much more time...
It just breaks my heart nowing she doesnt have much time and that all these funerals happened today it seems like that all I heard about today was funerals...

Oh wow I'm so sorry.
My mom's step dad just passed away earlier this week.
And a girl from my school just recently passed away last weekend...she was in a gang in Detroit and got shot.

I hope everything gets better for you soon.

That happened to me my sophomore year of high school until now. In the past year or 2 starting may 2007, i've been to 3 wakes. 2 for kids in my school that have died of cancer and one for my history teacher's daughter. and i'm going to a wake tomorrow night because one of my co-workers was murdered. she was only 19. it's so horrible.

I'm really sad to hear about that.
I hate hearing about young people dying.. it's almost like they really didn't get a chance to live life..
But everything happens for a reason. You just gotta deal with the hand you dealt.
