Was this a DISer I met?

We were riding the monorail to the Magic Kingdom on 9/30 and this lady was on the same card as us. She was talking to this couple and they were saying she should be there tour guide. Then we talked to her for a bit 'I heard the Contemporary has dirty rooms' and such.

Then as she exited the monorail in front of us we noticed she had a lime green backpack with the name 'TISHKE' on it.

So...will this DISer please stand up?

That is too funny- I was with Tishke on the trip this weekend but not with her on the monorail- she was coming to meet us and was delayed because not only did she offer directions in the monorail but once she got to the park she kept getting stopped and asked for help

That was the night that I was hopping from Epcot to MK and was helping many of the people in my car get where they needed to be. It was a lot of fun. I made some new friends and hopefully helped them all get where they wanted.

Oh, and the Contemporary line cracked me up. I told them about the refurb and how the new rooms are much nicer and they are rethinking their thoughts of the rooms.

I met quite a lot of DISers on this trip, and had fun playing tour guide. Hmmm.....maybe I can get hired to do my own Tishke Tours?!

We did eventually get to meet Mickey in the Judge's Tent the next day, thanks for the advice! That's very funny how what we said about the Contempary made you laugh. We were the family with the brown haired wife, brownish-blonde husband and brown haired son just so you remember.

Glad that you got to meet Mickey. It's not a real trip until you meet the Mouse. How was Chef Mickey's? It was you guys that were heading there, too, right??

The Contemporary thing made me laugh only because I have stayed there many times as a child and I loved it, but now I am not a huge fan. It seems to be the least loved on the monorail loop, but we all have different reasons. I am hoping with the refurb that I get a chance to try it again. It seems a shame to never stay there again.

We were planning to go, but we made some last minute changes and went to Biergarten instead, so I cna't tell you how CM was!
