We are booked for Sunday 2/6/11 for 8:20pm.

I know its superbowl sunday, so maybe thats why.

Do you know what time they actually close the resturant since WS closes at 9pm?

I was checking for an arrival day lunch, and Le Cellier popped up, so I snagged it...We have never tried it before...looking forward to it! As far as closing, I would think 10-11??

Its really good. If you like steak, you have to try the steak. And their cheddar soup is awesome.

Are you using the dining plan?

Congrats on snagging a dinner adr for Le'Cellier; Just go there with a realistic expectation of this place and you'll leave happy. So many, including myself, have gone there expecting a earth shaking, almost out of body experience only to find it's a decent place much like an Outback, but far from great. For me, it's hype is more sizzle than anything.

Is it a bad place? no. Is it the greatest place in all of WDW and much of the universe as some euphorically proclaim it to be, no. It's typical of just about any other WDW restaurant, good, but not great. JMHO. :goodvibes

Not sure of the closing time but they won't chase you out of the place. Take your time and enjoy!

With regard to the closing time, I can only tell you that you won't be chased out. My sister and her family had a late dinner in Japan (ADR was 9:15ish pm) when I believe World Showcase closed at 11 pm. When they left, it was well past that 11 pm closing time and they walked through a deserted EPCOT to the bus. She said it was really cool to see EPCOT all closed up for the night... the lighting was minimal but adequate and music was playing. Maybe you'll be treated to an atmosphere that most people don't get to enjoy.
Oh yeah...the mushroom risotto at Le Cellier is TERRIFIC!

Hey! We'll be there that night, our ADR is at 8:50pm. It was the latest seating -- I wanted to maximize our Epcot time. So you won't be the last ones in there ;)

That is cool. We were actually in Epcot when EMH started years back. It was the same thing, it was empty but some of the rides were still going on. not many people knew about the EMH back then so it was nice to almost have the park to yourself. I think we rode test track 3 or 4 times.

I agree with you 100%. :thumbsup2 We have given LC 3 chances to wow us the way it has wowed otheres, and it never lived up to the hype. It is just a small notch above a chain like an Outback.

As for closing time, in May we had the last ADR of the night. We didn't feel rushed or anything like that and it seemed like some people showed up after IllumiNations and were not turned away. Transportation pretty much runs until everyone leaves the park. The walk from the WS to the front gate after the park is closed is very quiet, relaxing, beautiful and in a way a little creepy.

We ate there a few times. Always liked it. I don't think its mind blowing, but its one of the better resturants I think.
