Was considering renting a car or using Uber but decided on mears

With early park closings, no park hopping and limited transportation I was considering getting a rental car for our November trip due to some evening ADRs.

We really do not want to drive around property, Lyft could work but sometimes our party of 5 would have to split into 2 cars.

Just for ha-ha’s I figured I would check into MEARs. We have used in the past with no issues. The cost really want much more than Lyft and definitely less if we had to split up into 2 cars. With some promo codes I have all our various dining transportation all set!

It ends up costing much less than a car rental, less stress of having to drive around, we can travel together in one vehicle and I feel the cleanliness of the MEARs vehicles will be far better than Lyft cars.

That's good information, I never thought of using Mears to do resort-to-resort but these days anything goes. Please post an update afterwards regarding wait times and thank you!

We used Mears only once for opening at Universal Studios. Once was enough for us.

We scheduled a pick up at our resort for 7AM on the night before, to give us time for the 8am opening. The lady at concierge set it up for us as we watched her. We were there before 7am, waited til 7:30am and still no Mears. We didn't want to miss getting to Universal at open ing, so we called a cab, which was right across the street, with no waiting and we were on our way.

Was it more expensive? Yes, it was, but was very convenient.. We don't have a smart phone, so no Uber for us.

I had heard that Mears transportation was not reliable, and now I know that it isn't. If you aren't worried about getting to you destination on time, then I would try Mears. No to be snarky, but I am still upset about it.
