Was Bush Wired?

MYSTERY SOLVED: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
(2004-10-11) -- A forensic scientist studying photographic evidence has identified an object which caused a bump on the back of a suit jacket worn by President George Bush during his first debate with John Forbes Kerry.

"It's a spine," said the unnamed scientist. "The president's backbone, in a sense, was showing during his debate with Mr. Kerry."

Similar images of Mr. Kerry showed "no comparable spinal features."

When asked about the new evidence, Mr. Kerry said, "I had a spine when I defended this country as a young man, and I will have one again when I defend her as president of the United States."

New Salon article:

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/10/13/transmitter/

"Now a technical expert who designs and makes such devices for the U.S. military and private industry tells Salon that he believes the bulge is indeed a transceiver designed to receive electronic signals and transmit them to a hidden earpiece lodged in Bush's ear canal."

John Edwards has a theory about what was hidden underneath an unusual wrinkle that appeared on the back of President Bush's suit jacket during his first debate with John Kerry.

"I think it was his battery," a grinning Edwards told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday.

It seems reasonable that in this day and age the president of the United States would wear a monitoring or communications device on a constant basis. Why can't the Bush camp just give the public a plausible explanation of what it is that he wears instead of flatly denying the obvious?

I disagree. The idea that he came to the debate wearing a receiver so he could get communications during it is just ludicrous unless, of course, the communication was help with the debate. Assistants or secret service could be wired for important communications, but the president -- I don't think so.

Old story...that debate was when? this has been brought up numerous times already.

That bulge under President Bush's jacket has been positively identified as a spine, a backbone. Something the Kerry seems to be lacking! :D As Geoff has so aptly pointed out; with a link Peachgirl I might add.

What are you talking about now?

The link I provided was in regards to the ridiculous claim (was it you that posted that thread too???) that Kerry had brought notes into the debate.

Geez, just because Bush has lost both debates is no reason to get all worked up.

Personally, I think the mysterious bulge is a battery operated zapper. Every time Bush started to make one of those faces, they zapped him with a little jolt of electricity.

It does explain all the twitching he was doing....:teeth:

I heard on the radio this morning they though it was a bullet proof vest.

Can't we all just agree to disagree?

Now that is funny! It reminds me of Cheers when Cliff had the electrodes connected to him and they kept zapping him!:teeth:

The loser of the debate is in the eye of the beholder!

Then why can't the Bush administration just say so instead of dance around it?

A huge majority of the American public said Bush lost the first debate and badly. It was closer on the 2nd, but still a clear win for Kerry.

But hey, I don't mind your opinion at all, especially when it's in the minority.:teeth:

the NY Daily News had an interview with a tailor -- a man who makes expensive suits -- and he's convinced that there was something under Bush's jacket -- that even a cheap suit wouldn't drape that way.

Is it unreasonable to believe that the President of the United States has security measures in place that we as Americans are not privy to and that the Secret Service will not discuss them for the world to hear?

Since there was an entire thread on what a bumbling idiot you all thought he was - I would assume you didn't think he was being fed answers!

He was being fed answers, his staff should all be fired. You would think they would feed him answers to help, not hinder his arguments.

CNN poll

when last I checked, the poll indicated that 89% of the people responding think Bush was wired.
