Was Avatarland really the best idea?

I couldn't agree more. This is the best idea they have worked on in a long time. Disney is all about being immersed in "fantasy" lands.

And if you want proof that an attraction being well-done matters far more than whether or not the underlying property was already popular with Disney fans, the first word that comes to my mind is "Stitch".

Apart from "Great Escape", Super-Sonic Celebration, anyone?
