Was anyone else at CG 9/19 night for the "Special Fireworks"?

:yay:
Friday night we decided to eat at the bar at CG after having a fabulous meal the evening before. Little did we know that there was going to be a "special" fireworks presentation right outside of the Contemporary by pyrotechnic firms who once a year put on a huge "show" to demonstrate to Disney their abilities and try to capture the fireworks business at WDW.
Was anyone else at Cali Grill during this time? It was fabulous!

We weren't at the CG but we did see the fireworks. They were spectacular. Outside the MK was packed with people watching.

We saw the fireworks from Ohana that night -- closing of MK was insane that night too after Wishes.

I wish I would have seen or met some other Disboard people -- never saw a single LGMH during my trip. The only person that I met from the Disboards was our concierge girl (hi Crystal!).

We saw the show from the 10th floor of CR! We bordered on sensory overload...it was so incredible! We loved every single minute and felt so happy that we were in the right place at the right time!

Not at CG but we did see them from MK as a pre-show to Wishes and they were fantastic!

Oh wow, that is what that was! We were waiting to be let into the doors of HDDR that night and the fireworks seemed like they were right next door, practically.

Thank you,
I have been trying to find out where these came from.
We were driving by DTD, and they were amazing, but no one could tell me what was going on.

I wasnt at CG but i was in the MK watching from Sleep Hollow. Wishes was late that night we waited awhile and then decided to beat the crowds to the buses and OMG was it packed

My 2 yr old DD and I had dinner at Chef Mickey's that night and as we were walking over to the MK, saw tons of people just standing by the boat docks. I had also seen the traffic being rerouted for the busses but didn't find out what was going on until entering the MK. The special fireworks started while we were on the Peoplemover.

We didn't stay for Wishes, thinking we could beat most of the crowds but the lines for the busses were still huge! Once finally on, I was standing as usual but the traffic was still backed up so it took sooo long just to get out of the MK area. I had DD in her Ergo sound asleep while I held our backpack and her stroller. My feet were hurting so bad and I was stiff by the time we got back to ASMovies. LOL
