Warning to golf cart Drivers (and Dogs)

Your dog sounds like ours anyone with a free hand to pet her is her best friend.
I also agree that not everyone is a pet person and should not have to deal with them while vacationing in a campground or a hotel. There are just too many rules don't apply people out there that ruin it for everyone.
By the way we do take our dog on local trips but not the fort since we are more park people and it wouldn't be right leaving her in the RV all day.

And only you can make that call, since you know your dog best. :thumbsup2

Since we save up all our yearly vaca time we're lucky to get 3 weeks to fart around at WDW, so it actually works for us to take things at our leisure and break up our days for the dogs. We pop in and out of the parks but don't usually spend full days there.

Plus DH could care less if we ever stepped foot outside of the Fort!

DH and I joke that if we didn't have dogs we wouldn't have a camper (or our little shack in the woods of ME) and we'd probably take cruises for our vacations.

Yeah... we'll probably always have dogs. :upsidedow

Event the thread TITLE has gone to the dogs!

Do dogs like beer??

While we were at the fort(11/23/10-12/9/10) we were told by a CM starting next month there will be 2 undercover golf cart patrols

I WANT THAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Does it come with a badge? And what happens with any confiscated alcohol?) ;)

Make sure they don't allow loud music, tv or people either while you are at it.

Not to be rude I WILL NOT stay in any hotel that allows dogs.

1 - Because DS and I are very allergic.
2 - Even if there is a rule about no dogs left alone in the room, invariably some inconsiderate guest will leave their dog alone in the room and said dog will bark and whine all day. More than likely in the room next to mine.

They are my reasons, the first being most important. I think that the dog would feel more at ease in a familiar environment. That's why my brother hires a dog sitter.

we are staying at Spanish Moss, been here since Sunday
Only seen 1 disney security car in the loop. Have seen lots of
kids 10 years and up driving golf carts. Saw one parent pulling their kid on a skateboard behind their SUV. It seems everyone is struggling driving the right way on a one way street. But its been a nice trip I dont want to go back home. Sambuster
