Warning: Le Cellier Menu Has Changed!

Sounds to me that I can't even start deciding on my ADR's for booking in September because by then the LeCellier menu will change again? Every 6 months is that normal at WDW or any restaurant? When I was a waitress when I was younger, our menu's changed every 2 years or so.

I'm sorry that DH didn't take a picture of the new menu. I was stuck at CentraCare when he and the kids ate there on 3/17. I arrived just as they finished eating (SO disappointing!), and as we walked out he told me that the server said it was their first day with the new menu. I was too ill to care at the time, but afterward I realized we could have been the first to post the new menu. Sorry some of your faves are gone.

ahh looks like lunch has changed since Sept. too, because what my dd and I had are both gone!

Glad I got dinner reservations for this Sept. although it is not very exciting for a 10 and 11 yr old who have to eat off of... oh well, prime rib for all!

Just wondering aloud here...why are the steaks so much more expensive for dinner? None of the other entrees are more.

Oh, I am crushed!

I've been looking forward to the filet mignon w/ cream cheese mashed potatoes for 3 years! 3 years!!

I finally, finally get an ADR at Le Cellier, and they change the menu! Why would they take away a menu favorite? Why?

And where's the chocolate moose? I was ordering that for my kids' dessert! Wah!!!!

I wonder if I could order the filet mignon plain (I don't like mushrooms) & substitute the mashed potatoes?

They don't even have the salad w/ the pecan-shallot vinaigrette dressing on the menu any more!

I'm just heartbroken.

Honestly we will probably end up canceling our ressie now. We loved the bbq fillet, can't stand mushrooms. And we loved the chocolate moose too. Also our favorite appetizer was the kbob they used to have but they got rid of it last year. It was good but if what we want isn't there way spend the money?

I would be happy if I could do this as well. I got the BBQ on the side last time anyways, so this would more than suffice for me. My other choices were the Cheese soup and Chocolate Whiskey cake, so I'm still good with those.

Again, only our experience, My Dh is so so so picky... Nothing but plain EVERYTHINg for him... no steak sauce, no mushrooms no nothing, and he tells them that for everything and they have always accomodated him!!!
when I try to plan meals, I just go but what he will eat and I adapt to it...
That is why buffets it Disney only are better for us!!!
But he loves LeCellier...

OH MY.. I just was showing my Dh and there is no chocolate mousse and no smores desert...those are the only things we get....

hmm, he told me to cancel that reservation...lol he is such a plain eater but loves his desserts.

I am going to hope that this is a seasonal change, and come the fall we will go back to the "winter" menu. I know it's a long shot, but I can hope LOL

I'm not sure what the big deal is. I always thought that restaurants change their menus several times a year and it is to be expected. I believe they do have the right to do this.

I am sorry to say that I agree that menues need to change....otherwise people get bored.

And when the menus take out the things we like we have the right to choose not to dine there any more. With the popularity of Le Cellier I don't think people were getting bored with it.

Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes? I am strickly a potatoes gal!

And no it is the not the end of the world for me but it is an expensive restaurant and if they no longer serve what my family was hooked on then we can our money on other things.
