Just an FYI if you don't know. The sweetener Xylitol (found in many sugar-free candies, gums and cookies) is toxic to dogs and can be fatal. The link above is to a current news article. It doesn't take much to cause poisoning. So giving your dog a breath mint for his doggie breath isn't a good idea.
