We just returned from 7 terrific days at the Poly. It was lovely. I just wanted to warn parents of small children about one thing. The paint on our bathroom door was peeling off like crazy. Each movement of the door caused a shower of paint chips. I doubt that the paint contains lead, but if I'd had a very small child, I would have been very afraid of him eating the paint chips. Our kids are 16, 15 and 12, so I just cleaned up the chips all the time. If you are checking in to the Poly with tiny kids, run into the bathroom when you first get into the room and look on the inside of the door....if the paint is chipping off, you might want to request a different room.

thanks for the heads up....

did you tell maintenance about it? what did they say?

I didn't call maintenance because I didn't want to move out and didn't want a paint smell in the room. I'm going to contact the Poly this week.
