I am trying to plan an itinerary for our stay in California Oct. 22-26. We have tickets for the Ellen show on Oct. 23 and i was thinking that we could do the WB tour in the morning and then get in line for the taping. Is this at the same place? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but i am just trying to figure it all out.
Thanks for your help!

I live about 15 block from both. They aren't quite in the same place, but it's definitely doable. It's about a mile walk from one to the other - maybe not even that far, but you have to walk around the large NBC lot from the Warner Bros Building that the tour starts from.

If you have a rental car, my advice is to sign up for an early WB Tour and then park at Ellen about an hour early - they don't have a lot, so it's street parking.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Ellen moved to WB lot.
Is the entrance for Ellen different from the main entrance to WB?
It's been quite some time since I've been over there.

I just checked her website and yep, you are absolutely correct. You will be fine for Tour and studio audience.

Last time I went was the Mother's Day show and it was still at NBC. The building there still has her logo on the side. Guess they haven't repainted yet. You will have a much better time with parking then. The studio tour is in a building slightly off the main WB campus, so you may have to walk a little. Not sure exactly where they have studio audiences go these days. Used to be a lot off Pass, but then they moved the Tour location, too.

Thanks for the replies!! I am so glad to hear that we should be fine...we REALLY wanted to do the tour before the show!! Thanks again!

You are really going to enjoy the tour. We used to take it when my husband worked for the WB. Since I was a spouse at the time, they actually let me take a coworker for free when she came into town for business.

Make sure you take the time to enjoy the museum. It's only open to tour guests and employees and there is a lot of amazing historical stuff in there. I love reading the letters from Bette Davis, stating her demands for her contracts and stuff. You read them and you get a bit of that slang - "Did she write that - oh no she didn't! Oh, yes, she did!":lmao:

Thanks for the advice! I am so glad to hear that the tour is worthwhile! And we will definitely check out the museum...sounds great!

What are you doing with your kids during the show? All kids have to be 14 and older to go to an Ellen show.

Thanks for the reply...I guess i should have specified in the original post...actually, the kids will be at home with Daddy....its a girls only trip, just me and my girlfriends! We are excited! The kids can't wait for me to go either...they know when i am not home that daddy buys junk food, cheesecake and take out!!!:cool1:
