Ward Cove

We are considering an Alaskan cruise next year that will port in Ward Cove, which I understand is a considerable distance from Ketchikan. Does anyone know if the Port Adventures (e.g. the Lumberjack Show) will provide busses to get people to downtown Ketchikan, or will we have to make our own arrangements to get there?

NCL provides shuttles (school buses) into town, it's about a 20 min ride.

I don’t know about this excursion specifically but my history with DVL is that excursions include all transportation.

If by chance it is not included, I’m sure there would be a disclaimer in the port excursion description.

We were at Ward Cove on another cruise line. The port excursion was so expensive for the lumberjack show, so we bought our own tickets for the show. The cruise's excursion was at the same show, but it saved us lots of money doing it on our own. We took the cruise ship bus/shuttle into the town. It takes about 20 minutes or more to get from the port to the town. When we got to town, it was easy to walk to the show.

oh for sure unless you want whatever lobster meal that the ship excursion when we went to Ketchikan, the lumberjack show is the EASIEST to manage yourself out of all of the excursions in Alaska
