I called about this yesterday and this is the info i got: (i'm posting this here as many people will look for "Wanyama" in their search)
The Safari is $210 per person and is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 4pm. You've gotta be 8 years old or older to ride (no age limit on Sunrise Safari). The ride lasts about an hour and a half and afterwards you go to Jiko and have a 4 course dinner with wine sampling which starts at 5:30pm.
Sunrise Safari is is on Sunday and Thursdays only, according to CM.
We've got a 2 year old so we won't be able to do the Wanyama Safari.
The Wanyama (aka Sunset) Safari is only available to guests staying at the AKL resort. Priority and a discounted rate is offered to guests staying on the AKL club level. Unless they've changed vehicles, it only has space for 8 guests and it goes through the resorts savannah, followed by a dinner with wine pairings at Jiko's. http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_aklsunset.htm
The Sunrise Safari is exclusive to AKL club level guests, although during slow times, they do offer up any available spots to standard room guests. It's much less expensive, in the $60 range. This tour goes through the Kilimanjaro safari, followed by a buffet breakfast. You also need to have an AK park ticket. http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_aksunrise.htm
