Wanting their piece of the Disney pie

Competitors are always going after the Disney vacation dollar but I thought this was a great commercial with the costs rising the way they have. The "all for 1/2 the price of a theme park vacation". Then add in all the "Disney references" and it made me smile. If you decrease service, take away enough perks, increase price and make it harder navigate the days, sooner or later people hit tipping points. Other vacation destinations smell blood in the water and are going to attack.

I am sending the link to my sisters who will get a kick out of it - I am sure they planned on this additional advertising when they put in the sly references!
 

I saw this last night and thought it was brilliant! I saw all of the Disney references (animal kingdom, Wilderness Lodge, Main Street, Fireworks - I was drawn in.....and then the tagline, all for less than have the cost (of a theme park vacation)......absolutley brilliant.
 
I saw that commercial the other night and thought it was great! And even down to the child at the end with what looks like a blue magic band on his wrist. I have to admit, it got me thinking!
 
I said to friends when I returned from a cruise to the Panama Canal in December: "Less theme parks! More cruises!"
