Wanting feedback on the diving excursions

My dh wanted me to check on info on the scuba excursions on St maarten and St Thomas. He is leaning more towards St maarten because we have more time there and he can spend the rest of the afternoon there with me and the kids. Is it a two tank dive at St Maarten? Is it a decent dive?

Any info would be appreciated!

Yes, there are some scuba divers out here. I'm just starting to work out the details for our Christmas trip so I don't have any specific answers yet for you.

However, I recommend you start by checking out scubaboard.com and scubadiving.com. Both sites have great diving information about both ports and operators.

My dh only dives every couple of years and only looks up Nascar.com, so he doesnt know about the scuba sites.

My husband dove in both St. Marteen and St. Thomas last february, the dive in St. Thomas was better, there is just more to see. But he did really enjoy both diving experiences.
We are going on the Western next February and he is really looking forward to Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

Thanks Christine! That was the jist of the info I was getting from the websites that scubadiver gave me. Because we have so much more time in St Maarten, and he wants to spend a little time in the ports with us also, he has decided to go ahead and do St maarten. He hasnt dived in a while (used to a lot before we had kids ) so it will be fun regardless

Your hubby will like Cayman and Cozumel, especially Cayman. DH has taken many trips to Cayman to dive (again, pre kids!) and its about the best you can get.
