On August 4th, in the morning, my DF & I are going to go to the courthouse and get married. Then we are off to our Site Visit. We're going to WDW just for a 3 day weekend. But I am so excited!!!! Any advice on things we could do that will not be expensive? As we are not wanting to spend alot of money, as we are saving for the DFTW, but we want to do something special as it is our real first (mini) honeymoon!!! Thanks! :teeth: :cheer2: :bride: :groom:

Outside of the themparks themselves, I would heartily recommend wandering around Downtown Disney (free!), miniature golf (Fantasia Gardens is behind the Dolphin and Winter Summerland near Blizzard Beach), or even just checking out the various hotels. They really do have some cool decor. Congratulations, by the way! Good luck with your site visit!

I would do the MINI golfing as well and above post is right.... Check out the hotels they have such beautiful Architecture and Interior views...My DF is an Architect and I am an interior Designer so we can spend hours at the hotel... Plus the hotels have great bars and eateries.... have fun

So, you went ahead and went to the courthouse in Florida to get married before your Disney Wedding?

I am interested in doing that too. How did it work? Was it an easy process in Florida? How long did you wait ect?

I believe that if you are an out of state resident, you can do it all in one day. Florida residents have to wait 3 days between getting the license and getting married.
