Hi all!
I am looking to put together a Ratatouille party for my daughter's 7th birthday, and would LOVE to hear any ideas you have for food, games, activities, decorations, etc.
Bring on the creativity!

No ideas....well, it must include cheese! But ~ I was at my local Disney Store the other day and they had a ton of Rat merch marked way way down w/ an additional 50% off!!! This was the outlet now! The regular store dod not have the extra 50% off promo and this was about a week ago. Good Luck. That will be a fun birthday party!

Oh... I don't know if you can find them anymore but my kids have these Rat chef hats and aprons we got from DS last summer. Those would be cute to wear....look on ebay.

Ratatouille birthday party supplies...1-16 pack of napkins, 1 - Birthday banner, 1-8 pack of cups, 2-confetti packs, 1-tablecloth and 3- 48 piece party favor packs...each one has 8 treat sacks, 8 activity sheets, 8 jumbo stickers, 8 spinning tops, 8 plastic springs and 8 paddle games, so I have enough favors for 24 kids. The 2nd picture is what is provided for each child.

In keeping with the chef theme, you could have the kids build their own food for the party. I was thinking something like build your own personal pizza and decorate your own cupcake. It would be messy, but the kids would enjoy it.

This is a great idea! You can get the individual boboli crusts, sauce them for the children & have bowls of toppings. The decorate your own cupcakes is a great idea as well & you can even roll out starbursts & cut them into mouse shapes (or do this out of fruit roll ups). Or whiskers!

My local Disney store had a bunch of 99cent Ratatouille toys (Emile & Remy pull back racers, orig retail 15$) that would be perfect for goody bags, also check your party stores as many of them have been clearancing the Ratatouille stuff out so you might be able to clean up. Also for goody bags, check the dollar store for things like whisks, spatulas and rolling pins that would be in keeping with the chef theme.

Great idea for a party!

All,
My best friend's daughters 4th birthday party was a Ratatouille themed party. All of the kids got paper chef's hats, and as an activity each child decorated a wooden cooking spoon and an inexpensive apron. They then got to decorate their own cupcakes. While the hat is long gone, my daughter still uses her apron when helping us in the kitchen.

Good luck and have fun!
Peter

ITA. 7 is old enough to make pizzas or sandwiches and to decorate (or even make) cupcakes.

You could also do a station with a bunch of different flavors for them to sample- interesting cheeses and exotic fruits- things they might never try at home.

Hang rubber rats by their tails in the window? :lmao:

In addition to other ideas- you could decorate with cutouts of Paris landmarks, too...

How about pin the tail on Remy? I'm sure you can find a picture of him online and then make up some tails.
