Wanted Halloween @disneyland but no parade?

I’ve never been to Disneyland at Halloween time and wanted to go this year primarily to see a parade I’ve seen online (headless horseman and haunted mansion characters and the shovel/sparks thing)
But is that parade only the separate ticketed event (that I know is already sold out)
What is better to see at Halloween time California or Disneyland?
It’s difficult to see what is going on at the parks that isn’t part of the Oogie Boogie Bash.
Honestly not sure if I even want to go now.

Yeah, that's the OBB parade.

If that's your priority, just wait until next year and snag an OBB ticket. You'll have to keep your eye on it, as they do tend to sell out relatively quickly.

But, keep in mind, one OBB ticket for a five-hour party costs about the same as a full one-day park pass. (A one-day one-park pass is cheaper than an OBB ticket a lot of the time.) And there's a lot to do at the parks that isn't at OBB.

At face value, Disneyland probably has more Halloween things. Haunted Mansion Holiday, etc. There's not a parade, but there's a Halloween cavalcade. The fireworks/projection show is full Halloween.

DCA still has a lot of decorations (etc), plus Guardians: Monsters After Dark, which is available after 3pm every day (it's not an OBB-specific thing).

While you won't be able to see the short parade, the entire area is decorated including both parks, downtown Disney and the hotels. There's a specific Halloween fireworks show at Disneyland on the weekends. I chose to not buy tickets for Oogie boogie bash and just enjoy everything else. The parade is awesome, but it's very short.

So I’m confused. On TikTok live I’m seeing the parade in regular Disneyland (not California adventure where oogie boogie bash is) and it is 8:45 right now. The guy on tik tok said it isn’t part of office boogie bash? Sorry but I’m really confused.

A few years ago, the Halloween party was in Disneyland and it had the parade. It moved to California Adventure Park when they started Oogie boogie bash.

There's a Halloween calvacade in Disneyland. I'm not sure the tiktok thing is, but it doesn't sound accurate.

The parade at the Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom at WDW started at 8:15pm PT and was still running at 8:45pm PT. (The party out there runs until 9:00pm PT.)
