I'm looking for a hotel or resort with a great pool. My 7 year-old DD loves the zero entry pools and splash pad type play areas. Any non-Disney hotels or resorts that you would recommend?

Check out Windsor Hills! We are here right now with a 6 & 8 year old, they love it! They are also loving their Mickey themed room complete with game systems and games!

I just posted info about the new Margaritaville Resort ,5 miles from Animal Kingdom in another thread titled Resort Change by Disney.
This Resort is part of the Sunset Walk and includes the new H2OLive WaterPark wit lots of slides, lazy river,
gentle wave pool, giant splash pad, Dive In Movie Friday night, etc.
look for great discount offers online for WaterPark and resort!
Plus this new WaterPark has modern water filtration systems that includes normal chlorination process and ultraviolet system Sounds really good right about now!

Sorry but Disneys words guaranteeing cleaning process for Covid sounds like what they should have been guaranteeing all along!

We are supposed to get to Vegas in August (from a trip cancelled in May). Still not sure that is going to happen so looking at alternatives. Was looking at Margaritaville in Orlando. It looks awesome. Are you staying at the Resort or the Cottages? Is the H2O Waterpark included with the stay or is that extra? Are most things open at this point? Are masks required around the resort? Sorry for all the questions...
