WANTED: Disneyland 50th Anniversary Glass Mug Replacement

Hey all.

I had some pretty heartbreaking news this morning and I thought I would come here for help.

I just found out my most favorite and special Disneyland 50th Glass Mug was broke by someone this morning. It was bought for me by my Fiancee at the New Orleans Crystal shop during our fist trip to Disneyland together in 2005.

It's a large glass mug with a Handle and the Castle on it with "50th" over the castle logo and the words Disneyland Below. I can't find a picture of one online.

I am desperate to find a replacement. If anyone has one or knows where I could get ahold of one, I would be ever so grateful. Of all the things in the kitchen to break... it had to be the one I fear can not be replaced.

But I am sure going to try!

Yeah, first place I looked. No luck though, least not with the searches I tried.

The glass I am talking about has this same logo.

Bumping this in hopes some new eyes might see it. I periodically check ebay, and no luck. I don't even know if I am searching the right string though. I miss my Mug. DLR does not have any more, I did call. Second market or an indivudual is going to be my only chance.

I was at a Disney Outlet yesterday here in UT. They had all kinds of things from the 50th and I remember seeing several cups/glasses and mugs all at a significant discount so I think that may be a good place to look. I actually got the location off of the website with the disney souveneir outlets and there was a temporary one here. I can't remember the site, but it had a list of the outlets. If you have an old photo of it, I can give you a for sure yes or no on whether they had it at the one near me. Good Luck!

There's a Disney Outlet run by AMS Liquidation. They sell all the 50th items but each location varies. I found that the temporary locations have a better selection than the permanent ones. You can call the main one which is in Fullerton and see if they can help you. We tried to find a 50th Letterman Jacket for DH and they were pretty helpful in calling all locations for us to find it in his size.

Yeah I've been to 2 of them. The second as it turns out was opened at a mall a mile from where I live, but no Mug. Nothing even close. The ones I have been too seem to have a heavy amount of clothes more than anything. Very little else.

You might still want to try calling the Fullerton store since its the main one and see if they can help locate it for you. Each store gets different merchandise. I have one near my house and the Fullerton one is not that much further. There is a huge difference in merchandise though. The last time I checked they had a bunch of 50th items, especially the pins. They had 2 rows of boxes of different pins. Just give them a call...it won't hurt.

Have you tried Laughingplacestore. com They have some discontinued merchandise. I really feel for you, my Captain Mickey I bought on my Disney Cruise broke recently along with some other things in my Disney cabinet. I really hope you find a replacement, good luck!

Do you mind me asking where the 2nd one opened? i live in fremont and LOVE disney outlets, the only one i know of is in the Great Mall in Milpitas, have you tried there yet?

The new one is in Hayward at the Southland Mall and it says its open until August.
