Want to visit Art of Animation

I realize the resort is not yet open, but I was wondering if the resort is accessible to walk around? My 3yo grandson Loves Lightning McQueen and I was hoping to bring him over to walk around and see the Cars characters. And then of course the other characters there too. Is the bridge open to walk across from Pop? TIA

Well the Skyliner station is half way across the bridge, and I did see people heading off in the direction of AoA when we got on and off there last week. Pick a day with nice weather and take the walk. All they can say is no, turn around. It's only about a 5-10 minute walk.

Didn’t realize that’s where the station is. We are staying at AKL, but mostly doing a resort stay trip. Thought it would be fun to ride the skyliner and visit AoA. We will for sure make a morning/afternoon of it!
