So far I have a dinner ressie at Yak and Yeti (one of our favorites) and a breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

We are staying at Bay Lake Tower. Kids ranging from 13 all the way down to 3. Looking to branch out from our usual restaurants. Any suggestions?? We are up for anything.

Thanks in advance!

The Wave at the Contemporary is reasonably priced and very good, a nice change of pace from the normal Disney dining.

Homecomin' at Disney Springs is also excellent, if you find the time to fit it in.

Garden Grill is a character meal at Epcot with decent food and good character interaction, both breakfast and dinner are very good, in my opinion.

Coral Reef, if you haven't been, has a very unique atmosphere. However, last time I went I was not overly impressed with the food or the service, but it might be cool to check out at least once.

I've heard that about Wave before, thanks I will book that.

I agree Homecoming was delicious when we went last trip. Coral reef is a favorite of ours and we may book that as well.

Thanks!!

Not sure what your usual places are, but there is one place that we go on every single visit. We just really like the food at 50's Prime Time Cafe. The fried chicken dinner is a favorite. It is the only place that we have been to on every visit.
O'Hana was a treat for us on our last visit. We ate there for the first time.

We really like Crystal Palace in MK. It's a Winnie e pooh & friends character meal. Character interaction is great and I really like dinner too.

What's the dinner like at Ohana? We have done breakfast there but never dinner. Is it family style like breakfast?

No, 'OHana dinner is a very different style than breakfast. It is All You Care to Eat.
They serve bread then salad, Noodles, Pot Stickers, Sticky Wings and Mixed Veggies family style to the table. This is followed by servers with skewers of grilled beef, chicken and shrimp served to you individually. Bread Pudding is served family style for dessert.

Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk.

'Ohana - food is amazing
Boma - food runs from mild to wild and is very good. Absolutely love the desserts there. Zebra domes, malva pudding.......... give me a minute I need to go book this
D-Luxe Burgers - this is a QS but it is amazing.
The Boathouse - don't be scared by the signature tag. There are a lot of reasonably priced items on the menu and it is a great place for lunch
Olivia's - this one is out of the way but it is amazing. Fried chicken dinner is fantastic
Tusker House - best character meal I've had on property
Teppan Edo - expensive hibachi but it is fun, the chefs are great with kids and it is an 'experience' dinner if you don't have something like that near by.

I second anything at the boardwalk - we just did Cape May dinner buffet....then, go over to fantasia gardens for some mini golf - REALLY fun and you can see the 9pm fireworks all around you!

O'hana is really fun and the food is good (IMHO). They have live Polynesian music, coconut races and the limbo, plus Poly is really fun to visit.

As another PP recommended, something on the Boardwalk in the evening (we like Trattoria al Forno). They have jugglers and magicians at night, plus carnival games and you can rent a surrey bike. You could even walk over to Fantasia and play mini-golf.

Trail's End at Ft. W! You can take the boat from CR right over to Ft. W. The food is good and there is a playground and the WDW stables right next door. The younger children could even go on a pony ride and, if you time it right, you could go to the sing-a-long with Chip and Dale.

I will try Trails End. Sounds like a great idea. Seems like the Circle D ranch is only open until 5 so maybe we will head over around 4 so we have time to look around before eating. Thanks!

Here's what I would recommend;

Narcoosees at the GF for a special dinner
Coral reef restaurant at Epcot - the kids will marvel at the tanks
Via Napoli in Italy in Epcot

Restaurantasuris in Animal kingdom has good kids food and great theming plus adult drinks for mom and dad.

Katsura Grill in Japan at Epcot is a nice QS and it has delicious Udon.

The new Polite Pig at Disney Springs sounds amazing. We'll be eating there on our trip in a few weeks. Other restaurants we like in Disney Springs are D-Luxe Burger, Morimoto Asia and Raglan Road, Raglan Road has a band and dancers which can help keep the kids entertained. There are also lots of places just to get dessert. We really like Vivoli Gelateria. The rest of the family has eaten at Blaze Pizza and really likes it.
