Yesterday I was talking to someone about our upcoming trip while I was waiting for my daughter at her dance class. He told me that one of their neighbours had their son fake a broken leg - complete with cast and wheelchair in order to not wait in line for any rides. Apparently the boy had broken his leg prior to their trip and had the cast cut off in such a way that he could put it back on?! I don't know what time of the year it was but to be stuck in a wheelchair with a hot cast on in Florida heat! The lengths that people will go to to beat the system is amazing!
I couldn't believe it!

That is absolutely awful...and to think his parents would even allow him to do such a thing - some people are so classless!

And the joke was on them, as most lines are wheelchair accessible now anyway, so they still would wait!

That is downright awful. He should do what i do and fake a stroke :confused3 ..

P.S. You don't need a cast to rent a wheelchair...just $10

::yes::
So, they heated up their child in a fake cast, pushed a wheelchair that weighs close to 50 pounds around the parks and waited pretty much the same as they would have without doing all that.

That is not only awful, it is ridiculous! I just spent the past 8 months on crutches and did a trip to Europe, I was put in the front of lines etc., but to tell you the truth, it was a nightmare. I would have gladly stood in line if it meant I could have walked.

If these people actually did this, they need their heads read!

That is horrible that parents would let their child do something like that. I can not even belive it. Also it wouldn't do them much good as they will soon find out that it could take even longer in line waiting for a handicap accesible ride vehicle.

I laugh when I hear stuff like this. I always figure that people who go out of their way to beat the system eventually get what's coming to them. As some of you pointed out, think of the heat and the energy expended to pull this off. Sad.
