Want to get involved

I am rather new to this particular board...I tend to be over on the cruise boards a lot. But I have come here every now and then, and I would really love to get involved in a cirlce journal. Seeing as I've only been on a Disney Cruise and not to the parks, then I guess I could only do a cruise themed journal. But everytime I come here to try and find one they have all been filled. Any advice on how I can join in? Thanks!

Wish I could help but I don't know anything about them. Your best bet would be to read through some post and see who has the little circle journal clip art at the bottom of the post and then PM to ask.

Hello!

I'm a member of CJ III here, which started awhile ago. I know the recent Cruise CJs had 2 groups and a good amount of people, so I don't know if you'll find a lot of interest for a cruise CJ right now. I think the best way to join a CJ is to start a post asking if anyone is interested in starting another one. Maybe you could do a non-Disney themed one since you haven't been to the parks? I know Two Peas does a lot of CJs with varying topics, but their message boards give me a headache so I never got many details.

It's lots of fun. I'd join another one if it got started, just not a cruise one as I've never cruised.

I'm also somewhat new to this board, and am also used to hanging out on the cruise board..... Please tell me....what is a Circle Journal????? And the swaps..... are they all a bit different.... this a lot of new confusing but exciting stuff!!!!

Hey there... I'm currently in both of the DIS DCL CJ's...and so far what I've done has been fun. They've only been going a short time now...so I haven't done alot.

Anyway One day I happend to stumble across the post here in the scrapbook forum asking if any one was intrested in doing one.....With the swaps I think sometimes it's pure luck to get in..but with the CJ it wasn't as hard. Anyways normaly someone will post a thread..asking if anyone is intrested in doing a CJ or swap related to what ever (in your case DCL)..from there they'll wait and see what kind of responce they get then set a date as to when "sign-ups" will be posted. I've found that once the date is set as to when the sign ups will be posted...you have to be on the computer soon after it's posted. I've seen some of the swaps fill up in a matter of hours. The DCL CJ #1 filled up fast...but the second one didn't fill up at all. We ended up with only 9 people...instead of the 12.

It's to bad you didn't post your question a few weeks ago...because the second DCL CJ just did the first mailing at the begining of January.

I guess the quick answer to your question is...you have to be on the board alot to see the posting...then sign-up as soon as you can.
