Cant wait not long to go now before we go for the first time to WDW just wondering if I can get any last minute suggestions or extra hints of what to do or if there is anything we should not miss. :cool1:
There are 10 of us going in total the youngest being DS 3 and the eldest child being DN8 (birthday whilst we are there) the 2 other children are DD 4 and other DN6 (also having a birthday whilst we are there!) the remainder of us are DMom's, DDad's, and DG'dad & DG'mam, we have a CRT, FMT & Illuminations cruise all booked thanks to Dsis-in-law and her wonderful palnning! :flower: I may sound a bit greedy but I want to do as much as possible we are going for a FULL 2 WEEKS :cheer2: so please any extra's
Oh DS & DN both love Peter Pan & Captain Hook! pirate:
Thanks for any help you can give ::MinnieMo

Best advice is to plan as much as you can. I would recommend going to allearsnet.com That website gives lots of important info such as busiest days for the parks and emh and other stuff. Also, read as much as you can on this site. Lots of good info from some Disney Veterans.

Planning is good but also be very flexible. Especially with all those age groups. You will need to rest often just from the heat of the sun and kids getting overtired and adults just getting downright pooped!! Pace yourself. Take a day and spend it at the hotel pool or a water park. I know you said your son is 3 so this may not work for you unless he is turning 4 by your trip but the GF has a pirate adventure pirate: (you mentioned that the boys like PP and CH) so this would be a good adventure tor them. Here is the info about it: http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/grandadven.htm they also have a tea party for the girls :cutie: . Here is a page with some birthday ideas: :cake: :bday: http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/bday.htm. It sounds like you and your SIL have done some great planning with CRT and the cruise but I'm not sure :confused3 what FMT is but whatever it is I'm sure it will be fun!!!! :teeth:

Thanks for all the great info DS will definitely love the pirate hunt.......... do you think they will let mum sneak on too!! pirate:

Not to be discouraging, but you can't do everything. Don't know if anyone has!!! Well, probably SOME people, but it would be tough. It's a huge place with SO much!!!!

The best peice of advice I can give you is to have a "plan", but be flexible and don't worry about "getting everything in". You have a big group and just getting around will take a little longer. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Whatever you're doing. When adults are getting tired, kids are getting cranky, it's time to go back refresh with nap and or pool and you'll be surprise how a couple hours can perk everyone up again and you're ready to go again on a happy note!!!

When we went with my brother in July, I was all nervous about getting allot in, but soon realized that they had as much fun swimming in the pool as doing the parks. I stopped worrying about everything, "kind of" kept to my plan and relaxed and had a great time and I was SO surprised at how much we DID accomplish!!!

I'm so excited for you!!! Nothing like seeing Disney for the first time. I loved going with my brother and family for thier first time. It was just so much fun seeing it all "new" again through their eyes. Have a "Magical" time!!! and relax, enjoy, and make wonderful family memories. That's what will be important in the end!!!

"plan" some time to do nothing! To sit and eat ice cream and watch people. To go to the pool - to have a long lunch. Time to catch your breath makes the rest of the time that much better.
