Want to change UY on contract not yet signed...

My guide wont be in until Tuesday....should I call member services or do you think it will be fine to wait until then.

MS can't do anything for you. Having the contracts changed is something that your guide will have to do for you. Just give him/her a call on Tuesday and let them know.

It is an easy process and won't affect anything that you already done. I made a UY change when buying BLT, even had already booked a vacation on those points, and everything transferred over without issue.

I'm sure that your Guide can help you on this issue. However, have you thought about talking to the Quality Assurance Representative? The QA rep's telephone number should be in the packet of papers that came from Disney with your contract. I know that Disney has made all eight UY months available to buyers of BLT contracts, so it should be easy to get the UY you want.

I actually just ran in to the same thing, just bought BLT with an April UY. We travel in fall and winter months so this was not going to work best for us as November 30th was the banking deadline...so I called my guide last Wednesday but she was out of the office until this Saturday so I called QA and they helped me decifer the UY chart to understand which ones would be best for us- but advised me to contact my guide when she returned to the office because she has to make the actual changes. Just don't sign your current contracts because you will get new ones with your new UY....

My guide got everything switched quickly and easily. You will get a new member # with your new UY- but everything transfers easily- we have reservations the week of Christmas and the changes did not disturb anything!

UPDATE: Gave them a call and someone was actually there on this holiday weekend which was a nice surprise. She went over everything with me and agreed that an August UY would be much better than a February one. She can change the documents but is sending a note onto my guide and she expects him to call me on Tuesday. No worrys anything!
