Want to buy points

We have never used DVC or been to WDW. Our family trip is 7/3/07 to 7/10/07 and we are interested in buying enough points (I think 111) to stay at BWV or BCV.

You don't actually buy the points. You can rent them from a DVC member or stay at a DVC resort paying rack rate directly through Disney. If you would like to rent from a member head over to the rent/trade board and you can do so there. make sure you read the tutorials about doing this.

Yes rent the points, but watch out renting can get you hooked. I did and now OWN!

You will need to rent 134 points for a studio, which has one queen bed and one sofa sleeper. A one bedroom or 2 bedroom will be more.

Also you have picked a very busy summer time at the two most popular resorts. DVC can be booked 11 months out, so you might not find your reservation.

As stated you need to go to the Rent/Trade forum and be sure to read the FAQ as this will be a private agreement between you and the member and they will determine deposit and if they will allow you any cancellation or rebooking.
