Want AKL- trip next week - think we will get points?

We have a trip planned next week and want to do the tour, but we want AKL.

think they’ll have points for us immediately? We want to use our discount on merchandise

Points....maybe. But you will not get your membership card for discounts until sometime after closing. What you CAN do right away is to book your next vacation, if you are within the 11 month window.

If you are a resale owner already and add on points you will get your blue card immediately... We Had resale AKV and bought some direct points at RIV and had the blue card before we left the sale center. If you are a new member than the blue card will not be there instantaneously...

When you buy direct as soon as u get your online access you can print your blue card from the website.

Disney makes more money selling Riviera, so I am going to assume Guides do as well.

With that in mind Id go in and express zero interest in Riviera. "Oh, I thought I could get animal Kingdom, never mind"

Also remember, an annual pass gives you almost all the same discounts - if that is applicable

When you buy onsite, they make sure to get you a membership card to begin using perks right away. The account will be set up within hours, and digital card will then be available.

I Bought points at AKL on Thursday last week without an issue so depending on the size of the contract it's very possible that they would have them available. I went for a tour of Riviera and went yea this is nice but no thanks AKL please and my guide had it done in 30 minutes
