Can't resist sharing these. He was embarrased that I got a little teary-eyed while helping him get dressed, and again during the photos. I told him if he thought that was bad, he ain't seen nothing yet! Wait till graduation.....or when we drop him off at college. :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Anyway, here is my sweet boy

The very happy couple

And finally, one with mom

Awesome photos!
What a cutie!!! :)

yea, I cried too getting all my kids off to prom/college.. Graduation is a whole different story... I have learned to sing my ABCs as to not cry so hard... try them backwards too! LOL

To be honest.. I cry when PJ comes home for visits, I cry when she leaves to return to school... i cry when she texts that she made it safely.... my DH says I'm a sap! LOL

Danielle, he is a cutie!

I bawled my eyes out on the way home from dropping Josh off at his first year of college. I cried every time he would come home and leave and after he called. I got teary eyed at graduation, but I sucked it in as I was not crying on camera for everyone to see! Now when Julia graduates all bets are off!

I love her dress
he is really cute too

I'm so glad my boys aren't leaving town - otherwise I would be a big mess

He look very good! I love her dress LOL Which I had something that nice back then

Let's not take about graduation just yet. I will be a mess as I'll have 3 graduating at the same time

Thanks, everyone!

I can't imagine having three to do senior year with! All I can say is start saving money now! LOL

Tyler came home from school yesterday to tell me there was a huge drinking party after prom at a cabin owned by the parents of one of the "popular" kids. Seems mom and dad knew it was happening, stopped by to check in on how things were going at some point early in the night, and some of the kids said the parents even provided some beer. Well, their daughter was taken by ambulance about 4:30 a.m. for alcohol poisoning. Her BAC was .38, which can be a fatal level. She is one lucky girl, but she and about 25 others will be facing underage drinking citations and the parents are being investigated for furnishing to minors. Some of these kids have college scholarships that will now be in jeopardy and the school is talking about not letting them walk with the class at graduation. Hope it was all worth it! I just don't understand the mentality of some parents. Why encourage these kids to do destructive things?

I'm so glad Ty spent a calm night eating pizza and watching movies with his girlfriend and other couples following the prom. His girlfriend's mom showed me a picture of them all zonked out on the sofas and floor by about 3 a.m. :lmao:

Danielle, Tyler looks so handsome! and they make a cute couple! you look like a very proud mama :goodvibes

wow, hope those parents get prosecuted! wonder how many of the parents knew their kids were going to that party :confused3 so sad that they might of ruin their futures with having to have one stupid night of drinking! thankfully no one died!
goes to show if you teach your kids right from wrong they will make smart decisions like Ty and his friends!

There are often parents who do this.. so disappointing... :(

DS16 went to the post prom sponsored by the school and had fun.. Makes me like the fact that we do breathalizer tests on our students before they enter any school dance... so they do it entering into prom... and then when they arrive at post prom...

Glad to hear you DS had the smarts to go have fun with friends and it didn't involve alcohol!!!

Aw, I'm teary eyed! I'm a big old baby though! So great to see YOU! He's very handsome and I love the color of her dress.

I won't even go into the middle school drama we've got going on, just say that I'm not surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.

Jennifer, hope everything is OK with Morgan. I hate middle school drama. Why is it middle school kids are so mean to each other? Is it the hormones? Anyway, send a PM or text if you need somone to vent to. :) I'm right there with ya with my 14 year old.

Oh, thankfully, it's not Morgan who is having the drama, but another girl. Long story short, this girl's boyfriend is moving south this summer so they are trying to get her pregnant so he doesn't have to move. Um, really? That will somehow change things? They're 13, think he can legally get a job? Who's going to hire an uneducated illegal minor? If nothing else, it's prompted a lot of good talks between Morgan and I.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: are you kidding! wow I hope their parents know what's going on

so happy Megan isn't all boy crazy!

Ugh! Good gravy..and I thought the crazy drama around here was bad... that's awful... why in the world would they even think that was a good idea.... Ugh!

At least it opened up the lines of communication for your and Morgan... sometimes it just keeps the vines open so she knows she can talk to you about anything as she grows up...and especially when she goes off to college..

PJ called me on several occasions this year to chat about things she saw and hard because its not things she was comfortable with and wanted advice on how to handle...

:scared1::eek::faint: OMG!!! I can't even imagine what they are thinking....Hopefully her parents are aware.

Thankfully Morgan has you to talk to about this. Keeping the lines of communication open is so important!

So glad its not Morgan having troubles. Don't you wonder what in the world goes through these "teenage" minds sometimes!!! Someone needs to smack the pair of them.
