Hard to believe they let me do this but the lifeguard at the top called down to his supervisor and got the OK. Thought some of you might enjoy reliving the ride (and, for a few of you, it may be the closest you'll ever want to get to going down it ).

OMG! That was too cool! I can't believe they let you do that. I can't believe you held onto the camera -

As you might be able to tell, I have always chickened out of SP - But I have a feeling our next trip to BB, my DS won't let me get away with that again....

great clip... the best is when you can't even see the slide's drop from the top! like jumping off a building (i would assume, never tried that )

The only thing I edited out was the excruciating anticipation you have to go through before you get to the top of the slide (which really is part of the fun, don't you think?).

It's been 4 years since I've been to Blizzard Beach & I LOVED Summit Plummit. This year we're going to Typhoon Lagoon, but I'm gonna be disappointed without going on SP!

What a cool video. I can't believe they let you take the camera with you. But I'm glad they did! You are truly brave to not only go on this ride, but to hold a camera while doing so.

That video went much faster than my slide did... I swear it must have lasted 5 minutes... and all of it painful! I'm glad I can say I did it when we were there over the summer. But even more glad to never have to do it again! Thanks for sharing!
