So being Military... I had to make an appt. with the "family doctor" and today was the soonest that I could get in. So I went in and he was looking at my foot and said that "There is deffently something wrong..... but it doesn't seem like a broken bone." He thinks that it might be the tendon and he thinks the tendon is torn. He wants me to stay off of it for a bit longer and see if it starts feeling better, if it doesn't, then I get to go to the orthopaedic doctor.
But before I can go to the orthopaedic doctor, I have to wait for my referral which could take 3-10 days
what is one to do!
I am hoping that it starts to feel better so I don't have to go. He did give me a "boot" to wear instead of that "shoe" and it does feel better sitting here with the boot on than it did in the shoe!

Sorry you are caught in the bureaucracy. No luck on the knee
but the dog keeps sitting in the way
A few years back my Akita (very big) "stood up" to look out the front door that I was answering and he came down on my big toe -- yep -- broke it. Had to wear sandals for a while. ugh.
I felt SOOOOOO bad for him..
