I love those ad prevention programs, but I tell ya what... if you don't want one and you use netscape as your internet browser, upgrade to 7.1 & it has built-in pop-up blockers..... blocks ALL pop-up ads!

do the programs interfere with any of the sites you want to go to? I heard they do and therefore haven't tried one.
