Wanna be at WDW?

The guy on the first video was like "The water smells wonderful!" I'm gonna be at WDW in more than a month.. =D I'm going for spring break.

I remember when my bff and I went during August in 2006. We were going to Boma for dinner that night. So our last ride of the day was going to be Splash and we requested the back so we wouldn't be as wet. So we use our fastpass and start riding. Well at that first hill, when you go around the bend it sometimes shoots up water. Shot up water and got us wet. Went slightly more around the bend, people come down hill and we get soaked again. We continue through the ride and the go down the hill. We get absolutely soaked. Our bones were soaking wet. So we get off the ride and we decide we'll just dry. We were going to be fine, until we get a whiff of each other. We about died from the smell. So we had to drive back to the hotel in the rental car to change. My dad cannot drive a mini-van to save his life. We told him it sounded like we were on test track. minivan, dad-who-cannot-drive-a-minivan-to-save-his-life, and the stress of being on-time to dinner= tires skidding and Allie and Tate holding on for dear life.

So we get off the ride and we decide we'll just dry. We were going to be fine, until we get a whiff of each other.

Weird. I never smelled odd after getting wet on any of the rides. And I was wet pretty much my whole trip between the rain and the rides. It just smelled like water.

The water on SM does smell wonderful, and all water at Disney smells different.

POTC, for example, smells like the faucet water.

Small World smells like the water in NC

And SM smells much more pool-ish.

Planning fake trips makes me sad, too. My mom was like one step away from booking a trip once from the WDW website. And then I saw her close that window. I almost started to cry. So close... I hate when my parents do that..I really do.

OMG the Splash Mountain guy also has a Test Track video! That's my favorite ride!

I hit it 17 times in a week this december :]

I definitely agree with that. Maybe they put chlorine in it.

I think the water at Kali River Rapids smells like rain. I always smelled like rain after that ride.

My mom's office has computer paper that smells like rain. Therefore it smells like Kali.

It's lovely.

I was making copies one day and noticed it. I took the whole stack of new copy paper and just started sniffingggggggg it. I got some weird looks from that.

I was very glad when I softied it to realize that it at least still smelled the same (Well, when I was waiting in line. It was a relief).

That was my first time "on" Splash Mountain. I'd never been on it before or seen a video of it. I'm a big chicken.
