Walts

Looks great, we really love Walts :goodvibes

We used to sit outside Cafe Fantasia every night with a drink when we stayed at the DLH and we were always amazed at how many people we seen walking past in their gowns :rotfl: I couldn't ever imagine waltzing around the DHL in a gown myself! Hmmm I do not think so! :rotfl2:

i remember once we went to see the characters in the dlh at 4pm and they had cleared the stairs area for the characters to come out. next this guy walks out in his robe, looked down the stairs and saw 50 heads staring up at him, poor guy got such a fright lol

Yes, I found that a bit odd - people wandering around in robes in the evening. But, the worst was a family coming to breakfast in theirs :scared1::lmao: I kid you not!! I didn't know where to look! Half expected to see them shuffling around the park in their DLH slippers and robes :rotfl:.

I think the reason some people wander in robes there is a) they've just used the pool b) they've just used the spa c) they've brought little in the way of clothing so as to leave room in their cases for shopping :rotfl2:....

I am guilty of it in day spas/hotel spa breaks (but it is the norm there), but never at DLH. In fact, I think our days were so packed out, I don't even think our robes made it out of the wardrobe .

PS - re pink burgers - I think it is pork that has to be fully cooked. Beef can be raw/rare. The first time we went to Auberge my DD's beef pattie was very bloody - we had to send it back. I just hadn't expected them to serve a rare burger/pattie to a child - adult is a different matter! I always asked for bien cuit - even with lamb as that is another meat they often under cook (for me anyway!).
